落砂耐磨试验机用来测试标准条件下有机涂层(诸如铝塑复合板或金属漆，汽车漆等)的耐磨性。让一定大小的砂砾通过导管从规定的高度落到试验样板上，直至磨到露出基材为止，称取将漆膜破坏所需要的砂量，以单位涂层厚度所用的标准砂量来评定该漆膜的耐磨性。本仪器的测试方法符合美国工业标准ASTMD968-83以用 JG/T133-2000标准。
